<p>Stratagus is a free cross-platform real-time strategy gaming engine. It is possible to play against human opponents over LAN, internet, or against the computer. The engine can be used to build real-time strategy games similar to C&C, Warcraft2, StarCraft, AOE, etc. It successfully runs under GNU/Linux, BSD, BeOS, MacOS/X, MacOS/Darwin and MS Windows.

Note: The Stratagus engine is the continuation of the Freecraft engine, all game-data from Freecraft will be split out into seperate projects. |

Peces is an open source game based on the Chinese game called Tangram. |
Peces is an open source game based on the Chinese game called Tangram. The main objective of the game is to create different figures by putting together pieces like squares, triangles, rectangles, and others. This simple yet challenging game has at least 33 gaming modes and 4 different difficulty levels.
You will be able to select among different figures like trees, boats, animals, etc., and at the precise moment you start to move the pieces a timer will start counting the time that you will spend trying to solve the challenge.
The game has four difficulty levels, which makes it suitable for both, kids and adults. Besides, the game incorporates 33 gaming modes (and
more 4600 shapes), from 3 to 14 pieces, and this feature makes the game a real challenge.
Another good feature of the game is the possibility to create new figures and add them to the main game. In addition, it is possible to create competitions against your friends, and select only the shapes you want to use. Moreover, you will be able to save these shapes to your PC, in order to use them later.

The peg solitaire game, also known as English peg solitaire or Senku is of uncertain origin. It is a board game played with pegs: in the classic mode, the board has 33 positions and 32 tokens because the center position is without form. The game is to remove the pegs but only with horizontal and vertical movements. To solve the game is to leave only one piece on the board in the center position (which was initially empty). In the reverse modes, initially there is only one piece on the board: with the movements (jumping from one empty position to another position to get empty) tokens are added to get only one position is vacant on the board |

Matanza is a multiplayer game (with no hard-coded limit to the number of players) where each player has a ship and attempts to take down all others. This is the biggest of all the roguelike games. Descend to the deepest levels of Gehennom to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor, while acquiring weapons and magic and building your character's skills. I highly recommend the X11 version, which uses a custom font and better graphics. There is also a version which uses the Qt toolkit for X11, which is quite pretty. <p>iiChantra borrows from internet culture at large (including anime) and from the memes of one of the largest Russia's imageboards IIchan in particular to create an unique gaming experience, where imageboard subculture meets classic pixelart graphics, chiptune music and modern gameplay. Controlling either SOH-chan or SAD-chan, employing a decent array of futuristic weaponry, and practicing precisely timed movement the player need to fulfill a series of missions, obliterating the numerous foes and overcoming obstacles in a fast, but not unthinking manner.
<p>iiChantra uses its own modular and expandable game engine. Currently, the game supports up to two players sharing the same computer; highscore tables are maintained online. |

Magnant-Dev is the developer version of the RTS/Trading Card game <a href="http://www.insectwar.com">Magnant</a><p>.
Magnant-Dev does not allow card trading, however, it uses the latest Stratagus Real Time Strategy engine, with new features such as meta server for online gaming, better path finding, better graphics and so on.
