Firepower 0.84 A multiplayer tank game designed for play over a dialup internet connection A multiplayer tank game which is playable over the Internet by up to 32 players. It reminds me of Bolo for the Mac, but is not related to it. The game is like capture the flag, but you can harvest trees, build walls and bridges, and lay mines to hinder the opposing team. It's designed to be perfectly playable over a 14.4k SLIP/PPP connection to the Internet. action free img off on off off on on 1998-09-01 bobz 1998-11-02 16:05:42 14 ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/games/multiplayer/xfirepower-0.84.tar.gz 2001-10-12 01:20:03 off

Any sequence of xbm bitmaps may be specified as the animation. The default "demo" sequence is a cute rotating earth. XBill Brian Wellington Psychosoft www ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/games/xbill.README Xbill README 2.1 Squish the evil Bills before they infect your computers with the Windows virus. An evil hacker known only as "Bill" has created a virus which resembles a popular operating system. This virus has the potential of turning even the most powerful computer into nothing more than a toaster. As a sysadmin, your job is to squish the evil Bill clones before they can infect your computers with the Wingdows virus. The latest version has more OS icons (including the Linux penguin), and LANs which can spread the virus to networked computers. This is incredibly cute; every anti-Microsoft Linux fan should see this. arcade free img on on off off off off 1998-09-01 bobz 1998-11-02 19:59:59 14 ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/games/xbill-2.0.tgz 2001-04-17 23:23:21 off
XShisen Masaoki Kobayashi www ftp://ftp.x.org/contrib/games/xshisen-1.36.README Xshisen README 1.51 A Mahjongg variation. This is a solitare game played with the traditional Mahjongg tiles. XEvil Steve Hardt www 2.02 A 3rd person, side-view, fast-action, kill-them-before-they-kill-you game. XEvil is a weird platform game. Your character is incarnated as a hero, a chopper-boy, or a ninja. Collect the weapons which drop from the sky and use them to slaughter creatures from Aliens, lemmings, frogs, and characters which look an awful lot like you. The weapon variety is interesting: it includes a frog gun (turn your target into a frog), flamethrowers, shurikens, and the soul-swapper. The game can be set to play levels, indiscriminate slaughter mode, a duel between two people at the same keyboard, or special scenarios (including one in which you must save the lemmings!). arcade free img on on off off on on 1998-09-01 bobz 1998-11-03 19:10:23 14 www 2002-11-30 09:52:49 off
