The aim of the project is to rewrite the entire H3 engine (VCMI is not another mod) giving it new possibilities. Several years of intensive work resulted in an application with an impressive amount of features.<br />

<p>Escape! is planned to be a 2d survival horror game where the player must navigate through various levels and deal with monsters, traps, and puzzles. The current release (Alpha 1.0) is not a final product, but is intended to be a conceptual demonstration. I'm asking for people to play through the demo and then e-mail me with some feedback, suggestions, and criticisms that could be incorporated in a more final version.
<p>The demo itself has pseudo-comical stand-alone plot (completely unrelated to anything that would be in a final game) and is intended to simply showcase the engine (graphics, controls, audio, etc...) so when testing that please keep in mind that there are still many improvements and enhancements I'd like to add and incorporate (plus suggestions from the online community). |

<p>Slipstream is a free multi-body vehicle simulator. Instead of using some sort of specific empirical model of a particular type of vehicle, vehicles are modeled as assemblies of interconnected moving parts. This allows any kind of vehicle to be modeled and moreover the whole model is completely parametric so that everything can be configured from the mass of the chassis to suspension geometry and engine and transmission characteristics. Slipstream can be executed either in real-time or off-line through control scripts and every quantity calculated during the simulation can be logged for plotting or further analysis so it can be used as a game or as a tool to study vehicle dynamics. Currently a modern sports motorcycle model is implemented based on measurements made from such a machine and published in an academic research paper. |
