16 2 1998-12-01 13:40:51 You may have noticed that new additions to the database are now announced with a green-headed news item, and some updates are announced with a yellow-headed news item.
I can't decide if I like this or not. It seems a little redundant considering the Recent additions and Recent updates lists are right here on the same page, but I thought I'd give it a try. The update announcements allow you to see what has changed, anyway.
If you've got an opinion about this, or anything else, for that matter, let me know. Hundreds of you have registered for Game Tome accounts, but only 4 (that's right. Four.) of you have given me any feedback. I can make the Game Tome better if you tell me what you want. Do you like the changes? default

It should be in production later today and in stores before the end of the month.
The most interesting part however is this:
Linux Support
The Linux installer is included on Disc 3 of the 3 CD set! We support both client and server for Linux. Unfortunately there's no mention of Linux on the box because we didn't know it would be done in time so please tell all your Linux gaming friends that UT2003 is ready for them!
Check Mark's announcement, it contains lots of useful information.
Also, Tux Games is now accepting pre-release orders for Unreal Tournament 2003 ($46.00) and its Strategy Guide ($15.00). 139 2 1999-03-13 23:15:32 With their blessing, I've started mirroring Loki Software's web site at loki.happypenguin.org, so next time you try to access their site and find that they've hit their ISP's bandwidth limit again, check out the mirror instead. 479 2 1999-07-15 00:49:50 While we're on the subject of Loki, let me remind you not to miss the August Linux Journal, which features an action-packed 7 page interview with Loki's Scott Draeker and Sam Latinga, a review of Civ:CTP, an overview of Linux gaming (which mentions Happypenguin.org and our pals Linuxgames.com), and lots of pictures of naked people! Ok, no naked people, but there are some nice clothed photos of Scott & Sam. Hey Scott, can I have one of those stylin' Loki shirts that you're wearing? Loki in Linux Journal default
4518 8 2004-04-01 04:32:29 While SuperTux has made quite good progress in the GotM month (new gfx, new enemies, leveleditor, etc.), it's still not fully release ready, another two weeks are expected before it can get it into a releasable and fully playable state. To speed up the process a bit another IRC meeting is planned at Saturday April 03 2004 at 18:00 GMT on irc.freenode.net, channel #supertux. Level creation will be an important topic on this meeting, so if you are interested in creating some levels feel very welcome to join. People for creating/polishing the SuperTux webpage are needed as well, so if you are interested please join the IRC meeting.

Update: Meeting log is available here. 83 2 1999-02-05 17:37:33 When someone criticizes Freeciv, the free Civilization IItm-like game, one of the first complaints is usually the quality of the graphics. Martin Hansen at freeciv.org recognizes this fact, and is organizing an effort to remedy it.
If you're interested in helping to create nicer unit and tile graphics for Freeciv, visit the new Freeciv graphics page and see what you can do to contribute. 3069 2 2002-11-07 22:50:05 Well, if you're seeing this, I must have done something right... Happypenguin.org is now up and running on Penguin Computing's network. Everybody should go buy a Beowulf cluster to thank them.
I'm sure something has been forgotten or broken in the move, so please bear with us as we tie up loose ends. Move complete. default
