54706 11233 news 34408 Ahh, that sucks I didn't buy the bundle for LIMBO, it actually looked like the least entertaining of the bunch, but after watching the video on the bundle and the guy pretends to not know how to say Linux I think they saw this coming. I wouldn't be surprised if they drop Linux, even though Linux users donate the most on average the total gathered from Linux is smaller and smaller every time. I've bought all but one bundle and played all games on Linux so it will suck if they drop it. 2012-06-01 21:51:40 0
54705 Dirk Dashing 2: E.V.I.L Eye games 30260 Re: Dirk Dashing 2: E.V.I.L Eye This has been fixed in v0.9.1. Windowed mode is now the default on Linux, and I've added your lines to the dirk2 script (commented out), so people can recover from Fullscreen mode if it doesn't work for them. 2012-05-31 18:15:27 54681
54704 Maziaks games 32962 Pretty fun This is a fun little game, my only complaints are that even on easy, it sometimes generates a ton of monsters in a row, which gets irritating, and sometimes places two or three or even four spike traps right next to each other, which is tricky to the point of unfair.

I like the frantic feel that you get when a monster suddenly rounds a corner up ahead, and when you realize you have to turn and run.

A bit of advice, lead them back over the spike traps, and only turn and fight them when they're standing over one. The traps work fine on the monsters, and will give you the edge needed to survive. Going toe-to-toe with one, even with a sword, will sometimes end badly if you don't soften them up first. 2012-05-31 14:44:24 0

54702 E.S.P. Hadouken games 37180 Re: License Thanks, it would be nice to see this in the repositories. I'm content with the current license for now, but I'll see if I can make a valid debian package and consider changing it for the next release. 2012-05-30 05:11:00 54701
54701 E.S.P. Hadouken games 35292 License The chosen license means that this game can't be included in Linux distributions like Fedora, Debian and Ubuntu. If you would like it to be included, you should use CC-BY 3.0 instead and also take a look at these guidelines: http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Games/Upstream http://wiki.debian.org/UpstreamGuide 2012-05-29 23:39:08 0
54691 Battle for Wesnoth games 7314 Great game! This is one of the only games that I keep coming back too. Yes, it is sometimes a bit hard. But that's exactly why I like it. What's the challenge in games that are too easy? For a while I used to play with save files a lot and go back to earlier save files if something goes wrong. These days I don't do that anymore. If something goes bad I only allow myself to go back to the beginning of the scenario (not the entire campaign of course :-) ) My kids love this too. Especially with multiplayer it is fun to have almost the entire family playing.
Excellent game! 2012-05-25 08:08:22 0
