BZFlag games 169 BZFlag I spent quite a few minutes just admiring the graphics before even getting a look at the gameplay here -- and it's darn good. (This was just w/ me and one other person playing one-on-one; having more people or playing CTF could only make it better). This is one helluva game. I'd call it the best one I've got on my machine right now. 1998-11-20 09:02:06 0
XEvil games 175 XEvil I've been playing XEvil for a few months now and still find it highly playable. If you're looking for slick graphics and a big gun go download Quake. If you're looking for a shoot'em-up with an excellent balance of violence and strategy then give it a download. The diversity of characters and their different abilities for both you and your enemies means the right weapon can literally be the difference between life and death. No spoilers here, half the fun of the game is figuring out what different people do and what different weapons do. Go Get Some!!! 1998-11-20 17:53:16 0
Xmame games 177 Xmame Xmame is simply one of the best programs out there. There is nothing better than playing classic games such as PacMan and Galaga, along with some not so classic games like King Of Fighters and Puzzle Bobble on my Linux box. All in all it brings nearly 1000 games to linux. And with 3d accelleration, almost every game runs perfectly with no more than a frameskip of 1 on my k6-200 with a pure3d (voodoo 1). Truly an awesome experience. 1998-11-20 20:57:03 0
BZFlag games 2 BZFlag Oh. My. God. This is a damn nice game. The graphics are more than adequate, they're amazing, and perfectly smooth. There was one other person on the server when I first checked this game out, and we had some fun just shooting each other. Capture the flag and the other variations sound pretty nifty too, though. 1998-11-22 02:00:43 0
Doom games 2 Doom The mood and atmosphere of this game has never been equalled. Certainly, Quake and Quake 2 kick serious butt, but Doom...Doom!! I was checking out lxDoom tonight, and as soon as I heard those demons hissing and howling, I just got all excited and nearly wet myself. This is the Baddest Game Ever. 1998-11-22 03:33:04 0
The LOSER Corps games 2 The LOSER Corps This games looks really promising. The graphics are wonderful, the music is nice, and the controls feel good. It's not much of a game yet, just a very pretty engine really, but when it's finished this ought to be a great side-scroller. 1998-11-23 00:37:47 0

XKobo games 203 XKobo Xkobo combines all the skills that you need for an arcade game in a neat package. Sure, the game would sit well within the 80's commodore 64 gaming scene - but that is what makes it so great. smooth graphics, strategy, action, skill luck and more. AND HIGHLY ADDICTIVE (the other reviewers are not wrong!) 1998-11-24 02:24:57 0
Nighthawk games 203 Nighthawk For those who have never played 'Paradroid', you may well have a look at this game, it gives a small introduction. The only part about the game which limits the playability is the fact that in the original, the BEST part of the game was transferring (called negotiating in nighthawk) - for those who haven't played the original - get a c64 emulator and boot it up. Then you will know about the glaring hole in nighthawk. Apart from that, the graphics are good, sound is excellent! - but in the end, you gotta play the game. 1998-11-24 02:32:41 0
XBill games 204 XBill Nice Game !! If you hate M**rosoft use it. If you don't: use it and you will hate it. But be carreful in real live M**rosoft Windows isn't a virus: You can destroy a virus with an anti-virus tool. I haven't seen such a tool for Windows! 1998-11-24 05:54:54 0
