A multiplayer tank game which is playable over the Internet by up to 32 players. It reminds me of Bolo for the Mac, but is not related to it. The game is like capture the flag, but you can harvest trees, build walls and bridges, and lay mines to hinder the opposing team. It's designed to be perfectly playable over a 14.4k SLIP/PPP connection to the Internet. |

This small program animates the X cursor. Any sequence of xbm bitmaps may be specified as the animation. The default "demo" sequence is a cute rotating earth. Although the docs indicate that the cursor in some X windows can be changed, I was only able to animate the cursor in the root window. |

This is an X version of the arcade game Ataxx with simple graphics. The object is to have the most pieces of your color on the board by the end of the game. On your turn, you can either clone a glob into an adjacent empty square, or make a glob jump to a new space. Adjacent enemy globs get converted to your color after you make your move. |

A faithful adaptation of the Battlezone arcade game. |
A wireframe tank game: kill the enemy tanks while dodging their salvos amongst a moonscape of pyramids and blocks. I mustn't be too good at these since I'm lucky if I can kill off the first two tanks before getting toasted myself. I guess it's a classic; I think it'd be better with joystick support. |
