<p>Ostrich Riders is a free and customizable Joust clone for one or two players.<br />
Opponents come in successive waves, and the players have to destroy them in order to advance to the next wave.<br />

Fun 2D platform game |
<p>This is a fun 2D platform game I am working on. It is in alpha stage, so expect bugs and bad maps, not enough content (fonts ripped from another well known game).
<p>There is no story yet, but the general thought is that you play as a rabbit called fuzzy fighting evil in some nice fantasy land. It is very similar to other platform games with some plans for some cool extras later. The major focus for me is to get the game to look good and polished.
<p>There are a long todo list for this game, so if you feel you like to help with graphics, levels, code or anything else, please join the project on sourceforge, or read in <a href="http://www.happypenguin.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3352">this thread</a>
<p>To run it on windows, download the .zip file, extract it somewhere and run the .bat file representing the suitable resolution for you. (default is 1280).
<p>To run the game in Linux, just grab the latest source from subversion from sourceforge and compile using: ./configure && make. After this is complete, run the game with ./fuzzygame.
<p>How to play: Control the character with the arrow keys, use enter or control to select a level. Use control to run. I would like to make this game quite fast paced, so please try to play with ctrl key presed for a longer period, that is the "feeling" I would like to reach.
<p>If you test the game or find any bugs, please give feedback!.

A 3D Jump & Run set in a small world of wood-blocks. |
<p>Blocks is a 3D Jump n' Run. The game is set in a small world, that is completely made out of blocks of wood, where you can move around freely.
<p>To complete a level, you have to find enough marbles and reach the goal. To do this, you will sometimes need to move blocks by pulling and pushing and perform wall-jumps.
<p>Blocks has some nice graphical effects like Per Pixel Lighting, Depth of Field or advanced global Shadow Mapping.
<p>The best method to play Blocks, is by using an analog gamepad. There is a Mouse+Keyboard mode, but it is nowhere near as good as playing with a controller.
<p>You will need a modern nVidia GPU to play Blocks. (>= geForce 6800) This is because I never had the opportunity to test the game on a Radeon. I removed all obvious nVidia-Only features, but I did not have any success on Ati/AMD accelerators.
