<p>You blow away various rogue droids on
a fleet of reclaimed ships.</p>
<p>I think you will like it.</p>
<p>Nb/ the game is an adaptation of the
original Paradroid game (as the story line suggests). So, people who played the original game, will find the game style s little bit different.</p>
<p>It has a music track by Vincent Voois and FX taken from starwars, though sound effects will soon be replaced (just as soon as we find decent sounds).</p> |

A midi file player the teaches you how to play the paino |
<p>Piano Booster is a new way to learn the piano just by playing a game.
<p>It takes elements of the game Guitar Hero but now it uses a real Piano Keyboard and the game has been turned sideways so the notes scroll along a musical stave. So instead of pressing buttons on a fake guitar you end up learning to play a real musical instrument -- the piano.
<p>
First choose a MIDI file then select the "left" hand or the "right" hand or if you are feeling really brave choose "both hands" and try to play along. The "Follow You" mode make it really easy to sight read the scrolling notes as the whole accompaniment will stop and wait for you to find and play the right notes. The accuracy bar monitors how well you are playing. |

Motivating Factor
Most of the Java ME developments happens in the Windows platforms. In fact, most of the Mobile Content Developers depends on this proprietary Operating System to generate their products, mostly games. They sort of think like it is almost impossible to create games exclusively in Gnu/Linux.
The ChickenWarrior is an effort to make those people rethink about making Gnu/Linux as their primary Development platform. It is built using NetBeans IDE in Gnu/Linux platform. |

<p>OpenMW is an attempt to reimplement 2002's popular role-playing game Morrowind. It aims to be a fully playable, open source implementation of the game. You must own Morrowind to use OpenMW.
<p>To give you a better idea of what this project is about, here are some of the aims for the future of OpenMW:
<ul>
<li>Be a full featured reimplementation of Morrowind.
<li>Run natively on Windows, Linux and MacOS X.
<li>Support all existing content, including Tribunal, Bloodmoon and all user created mods.
<li>Allow much greater modability: change game rules, create new spell effects, etc through scripting.
<li>Fix system design bugs, like the “dirty” GMST entries in mods, and the savegame “doubling” problem.
<li>Improve the interface and journal system.
<li>(Possibly) Improve game mechanics, physics, combat and AI.
<li>(Possibly) Support multiplayer at some point.
<li>(Possibly) Improve graphics to use more modern hardware.
</ul>
<p>It’s an ambitious list, and there’s a lot left to do before these goals can become reality. If you know C++ we could use your help in making the game a reality.
<p>OpenMW is released under the GNU General Public License version 3, and all source code has been written completely from scratch. It also builds on various other open source tools, most notably OGRE for graphics, and Bullet for collision (and possibly physics). |
