An X version of the Mille Bournes card game. |
XMille is an X interface to the Mille Bournes card game. It's a great game, but I would enjoy it more if it supported multiple (human) players. Also, the informative label telling you why you can't play a card isn't wide enough and the text often is truncated. |

A tetris-like balling blocks game. |
Xemeraldia is a falling blocks game from the FreeBSD camp. Although it looks like Tetris, it's not---and figuring out how to make blocks go away is half the fun. Suffice it to say that it's possible to set up fairly nifty chain reactions where blocks of the same color first get cracked and then collapse into dust.

A jigsaw puzzle for X! |
Although not really a game per se, this is such a beautifully-done puzzle that I couldn't resist. XJig lets you turn any GIF into an online jigsaw puzzle, and to add a nice twist, the pieces are double-sided, so you have to figure out which side should go on top. The puzzle interface is great; pieces snap together in a satisfying way, and they can be pushed around on the table just like in real life. If your machine can handle it, you can even play on the root window. Try it with adult pics for a real treat. :) |

A version of minesweeper for X11. |
It's another version of the classic minesweeper game. It has the ability to automatically uncover all the squares surrounding the square you click on, unless they're marked with a flag or a question mark. Otherwise, it's just the same old minesweeper. |

A 3D tetris game. |
XBlockOut is a three-dimensional falling block game, like Tetris with one more dimension. Although the interface is a bit difficult to master at first (six degrees of freedom), part of the fun of this game is battling the frustration of trying to visualize the blocks from above before they hit the floor. |

Squish the evil Bills before they infect your computers with the Windows virus. |
An evil hacker known only as "Bill" has created a virus which resembles a popular operating system. This virus has the potential of turning even the most powerful computer into nothing more than a toaster. As a sysadmin, your job is to squish the evil Bill clones before they can infect your computers with the Wingdows virus. The latest version has more OS icons (including the Linux penguin), and LANs which can spread the virus to networked computers. This is incredibly cute; every anti-Microsoft Linux fan should see this. |

A small program that animates the X cursor. |
This small program animates the X cursor. Any sequence of xbm bitmaps may be specified as the animation. The default "demo" sequence is a cute rotating earth. Although the docs indicate that the cursor in some X windows can be changed, I was only able to animate the cursor in the root window. |

A Quake3 server browser for X. |
X11Spy is a program built for X Windows
running on a Linux system to ping Quake3 servers and will launch the game as well. X11Spy requires GTK and Qstat to run (plus Q3Test). This program is in a very beginning stage. I will be adding quite a few more features in the future.
